Painting exhibition with a theme of "A love letter in the Twelfth Month"at O House Gallery sparkled with stars. Artists such as Ahdiat Joedawinata, Amalia Sigit, Hanafi, Kartika Affandi and Made Wianta...participated in this exhibition. They used different media from canvas, silk, aluminium and vidio.

The atmosphere at O house Gallery was very luxurious during the exhibition that was taking place in the gallery.

Rows of paintings from the best artists were in harmony with the minimalist contemporary design of the galllery. In the garden there was a statue by Yani M Sastranegara title, The Song of nine Full moons. The Statue of a woman caresses her full round belly.

She bows down her head, sign that the mother to be talk to the fetus.

In the main room, There were paintings from Amalia Sigit, Entang Wiharso, Hansen Thiam Sun, Kartika Affandi, and Made Wianta.

All of art these painters pieces exhibited in the gallery showed different characters.

The piece from Kartika Affandi, Title, Deepest Love, is an example.

A painting of a cat like animale with pink and silver dominate the colors of painting. This choice of color createds a sense luxury and elegance of the painting under the brightness of lights.

With the piece, she seemed to intend to humanize the cat like animale. It has a quite white socket stucture like that of human. with curvy eyebrows. nose and tongue stick outward from a dog like snout. It si groomed like a princess. Wearing hat with flower embelishment on the front side. Cleary, this painting is combination of a human face with that of a animale. The new species created by the daughter of the Indonesian fine Arts Maestro is made similar to human and animal, its face is like a human that puts too much make ups and look more like an animale!

She painted the piece in 4 panels in different expresions. Painted on a silk that is glued on a mica glass. The use of these materials stengthens the luxury and elegences effects of the painting.

the different feeling can be felt when l;ooking the pieces by Made Wianta. On a piece title, Kriss's Shedow In the Night.

Blind, he painted a blade of keris (dagger with wavy, double edged blade) in the midle of a dark canvas as a medium. There is not red as a symbol of blood. He even darkened the color of the spot where the kris is stuck to be condensed black.

The rusty stain on the top point of the kris seem to show a long hidden hatred. The kris is stuck on a black shadow. Its form is not exactly like a shadow of a human, it is only a very dark color form from top to the bottom. This painting wants to convey the pain felt by the keris's owner.

On the other hand Hansen Thiam Sun brought a social theme. In a piece title " Let Continue Walk", he potrays an expression of life struggle of two street children. A small girl carries a toddler under the age of three.

Her left arm is raised above her head, seems to reach something invisible. Her fingers are half clenched a sign of struggle. Her right hand is clenched behind her back to support the weight of the baby brother.

The eye gleam of the big sister looks aside to the left seems angry. She turns her back to a dark wall and walks to better lighted area. Her shadow still touches the dark color behind them.

The toddler holds a harmonica in his right hand. His left hand touches her sister's shoulder. He look innocent seems not to know the condition that they face. His life seems to be very dependent on the sister. On her every decision and step to continue their life tomorrow.

This painting shows a sibling love. Hansen wants to show the different kind of love, the life struggle of street childrens. The fight against poverty in their own ways. "Mengamen" to be able to buy food for the siblings for that day.

Apart from the impressions gotten the above paintings, this exhibition united pieces from different generations of several Indonesia famous painters. Ary Danajaya, Born on 7 July 1979 and Caroline Rika Winata born on 20 November 1976 were the youngest painters. While the two senior painters were Kartika Affandi, born on 27 November 1934 and Ahadiat Joedawinata born on 31 January 1943.
